It is a pleasure to announce that the Youth Ministry International (YMI) Cuba Professorial training program has been completed. All 13 students graduated with a Master's Degree in Theology with a Concentration in Youth Ministry. All 13 graduates had already received a seminary degree in Bible and Theology.

It is the first Youth Ministry Master's degree program in all of Latin America!

11 of the 13 students also received YMI's Youth Ministry Certification for 5 years. The other two students will receive their certification when a few final items are completed.

These new Youth Ministry Professors will begin FOUR International Centers for Youth Ministry this fall 2008 at four seminaries, with 55 students studying in their programs. Several of these new students in the master degree program hope to spread youth ministry training to other cities in Cuba upon graduation. There has recently been approved a new YMI professorial certification. This certification will enable professors to teach youth ministry courses in several new International Centers for Youth Ministry to be started in Latin America.
